Muito bem escrito e emocionante , o livro trata da relação entre uma mãe (cheia de dificuldades de relacionamentos) e sua filha adolescente reprimida.
Uma história sobre a luta pela conexão entre mãe e filha, gerações , crescimento pessoal, solidão, amizades, e tudo que nos torna tão humanos e vulneráveis.
A autora consegue nos passar de uma forma muito clara e profunda , toda a dificuldade e a seriedade que deve ser tratada a descoberta da sexualidade na adolescência.
Os personagens são descritos de uma forma tão real, que poderiam estar ao nosso lado em qualquer lugar.
Enfim, um livro sobre vidas comuns, que valeu muito a pena ler.
