Black Sun, o primeiro livro da trilogia Entre Céu e Terra, bebe dos temas da vez: Trauma de Gerações e Representatividade.

Conquanto o primeiro não seja verdadeiramente discutido em terras tupiniquins, é inegável sua influências nos debates atuais de divída histórica e transformação cultural. Xiala e Serapio, os responsáveis pela introdução desse mundo de deuses e magia, fazem não apenas o contraponto da discussão, mas a formulação narrativa desses conceitos.

Quanto a representatividade, ela vai além da mudança dicotômica de Bem X Mal ou mesmo da saturação estudunidense-europeia do gênero. Os personagens são caricatos para exatamente representarem a minoria de designação sexual que hoje luta por seu lugar.

Talvez essa seja a melhor definição de Black Sun: é um livro protagonizado por minorias para minorias.
