O romance precursor de O Amante de Lady Chatterley, mas que foi publicado postumamente.

Confesso, li pelo título.

Lawrence escreve uma história rápida sobre uma jovem, Yvette, que desperta para a sexualidade após conhecer o cigano - com quem ela basicamente não conversa.

Deixo aqui o meu destaque: a inundação da região aonde se passa a história que Lawrence desavergonhadamente usou como metáfora para a lubrificação feminina.
