Esse romance tem tudo que eu gosto nos livro da Meg Cabot, crime, mistério e romance. E com personagens secundários divertidíssimos. É muito difícil querer parar e largar a leitura.
Molly é uma bibliotecária recém chegada em ‘’pequena ilha’’, ela só queria recomeçar após o término do noivado e viver seu sonho de ser bibliotecária infantil. Mal sabe ela que há uma série de crimes ocorrendo na cidade e que a biblioteca vai ser o centro de um acontecimento. O que a leva a conhecer John o sheriff que está investigando o caso. Molly não gosta muito do jeito que ele trabalha e se ver tentada a investigar por conta própria. John não gosta nem um pouco de Molly tentando lhe dizer como fazer seu trabalho. Molly se mete em várias situações engraçadas e a proximidade com Sheriff começa a soltar faíscas. Juntos eles vão solucionar um crime e se apaixonar.
