Surpreendente e Maravilhoso

Como um leitor de fantasia, eu sempre me senti um pouco por ~fora por nunca ter lido nada do famoso Brandon Sanderson, então, nesse final de ano eu resolvi mudar isso.

The Final Empire ou O Império Final, é o primeiro livro da Trilogia Mistborn, uma high fantasy que se passa num mundo completamente próprio e novo onde cinzas caem do céu. Aqui vamos acompanhar a história de vários personagens, porém com um foco maior em dois: O Kelsier e a Vin.

Kelsier é um ladrão muito famoso, conhecido como Sobrevivente de Hatshin, uma "prisão" onde ninguém nunca havia conseguido escapar. E Vin, que também é uma ladra, porém vive numa situação muito precária e hostil. Os dois são Nascidos da Bruma.

A história dos dois se entrelaçará de forma que, juntos, os dois podem derrubar o Tirano que está no Trono de Luthadel, o Senhor Soberano.

Sanderson escreve de uma maneira impecável, com detalhes que são extremamente necessários para que sua leitura seja completa e muito bem entendida. Você se apega aos personagens ao extremo e quer que eles vençam de qualquer jeito.

Ambos os personagens principais (e os secundários também) têm desconstruções durante toda a narrativa, e isso me fez favoritar o livro. Eles saberem que não são invencíveis e que a qualquer momento podem sucumbir. Já iniciei o segundo livro - com muita dor no coração depois do final do primeiro - e mal posso esperar para desbravar todos os segredos de Luthadel. Recomendo muito a leitura para aqueles que amam o gênero.
