"A consciência é ativa e seletiva"

O primeiro livro que li de Oliver Sacks foi "O homem que confundiu sua mulher com um chapéu", e confesso que não consegui terminar de ler, sem antes dar uma chance para "O rio da consciência". O autor passa por várias áreas do conhecimento com extrema maestria e delicadeza, como biologia, neurociência, psicologia, entre outros temas, trazendo à tona reflexões muito interessantes para qualquer amante da ciência. Uma ótima obra para quem quer começar a leitura em Oliver Sacks. Minha vontade de ler os outros livros do autor foram muito renovadas. :)
