Existem apenas duas razões pelas quais os elfos encaminham-se à Capton: guerra ou esposas. Em ambos os casos, eles levam a morte.
Luella era apenas uma habilidosa herbalista que dedicava seu dia-a-dia para curar os necessitados de sua cidade. Contudo, logo ela descobrirá que na realidade possui um dom respeitável e precisará lutar para manter à magia em harmonia nos reinos.

Confesso que iniciei a leitura com expectativas deste livro tornar-se um novo favorito, e a princípio fiquei extasiada com o potencial que existia no mesmo. Entretanto, para minha infelicidade, logo tudo transformou-se em uma fantasia notavelmente genérica. Preciso ressaltar que a mudança contínua de opiniões dos personagens me incomodaram inúmeras vezes— assim como a personalidade da protagonista, uma típica boa moça idealizada com inocência exagerada.
No entanto, apesar de não alcançar minhas expectativas, não poderei negar que— em geral, a leitura foi rápida e não exigiu demasiado esforço da minha parte, uma vez que a história terminou me prendendo de uma maneira agradável.
