The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy novels for children and is considered a classic of children's literature. Clive Staples Lewis (1898-1963) was a British novelist, poet, academic, medievalist, literary critic, lay theologian, and lecturer. He is best known for his fictional work, especially The Screwtape Letters, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Space Trilogy, and for his non-fiction Christian apologetics, such as Mere Christianity, Miracles, and The Problem of Pain.

''Um dos melhores livros que eu já li, se não for o melhor''. Isso foi o que eu pensei após ler 'A ultima batalha', terminando assim, de ler todas as cronicas de nárnia. Viajei com Diggory e Polly até Charn, o Bosque entre os dois mundos, acompanhei a criação de Nárnia por Aslam, vi Lucia descobrir o Guarda Roupa na casa de um Diggory mais velho, vi os 4 Filhos de Adão e Eva assumirem seus postos em Cair Paravel, Shasta fugir da Calormania, se tornar herdeiro do trono da Arquelândia, vi os telmarinos imporem um regime aos narnianos, vi Caspian tomar o trono de Miraz, com a ajuda de Pedro, Edmundo, Susana e Lucia, vi Eustáquio virar um dragão, vi Ripchip chegar ao país de Aslam, vi Eustáquio e Jill acharem o principe Rillian, vi Caspian morrer, e por fim vi Nárnia ser destruída, e Nárnia morrer. Duvido que há alguma pessoa nesse mundo que não tenha se envolvido com esse livro, que alguma pessoa que tomou Nárnia como parte de sua vida, não chorou na ultima batalha, não chorou quando soube do acidente de trem, e ainda mais, mesmo não acreditando, ao compreender quem é Aslam, e entender todas as metáforas, percebi que Lewis foi um gênio.
