Kratos continua vagando, tentando fugir do seu passado. Ele chega a uma aldeia sendo atacada por um monstro e tenta ignorar a situação, mostrando que quer mudar. Mas no fim é obrigado a agir e entra em combate com a criatura. A edição reforça o conflito interno dele: mesmo tentando deixar de ser o Deus da Guerra, ele sempre acaba voltando à violência.
