Esse livro tem um lugar especial no meu coração. O li pela primeira vez no início dos anos 2000 e fiquei encantada com o humor rápido e criativo dos personagens, as dinâmicas familiares peculiares e a capacidade da personagem principal se ressignificar diante de circunstâncias arrasadoras. Esse livro já me arrancou muitas risadas. Ao relê-lo, consigo perceber certas coisas que seriam consideradas bem problemáticas nos dias de hj, mas levo em consideração a época em que foi escrito.
Me incomoda particularmente a vibe pick me das personagens femininas. No geral, proporciona uma ótima experiência onde risadas são inevitáveis.
