Não é um "Leviatã Desperta", mas também é bom. A busca por Julie no livro anterior continua sendo mais interessante do que a busca pela Mei.
A história por vezes é muito cansativa, uma vez que basicamente se dividiu entre a politicagem da Terra e o exército de Marte. A Avasarala do livro é mais interessante do que a da série, mas sinceramente me importo mais com histórias envolvendo o Cinturão e os Belters.
A melhor parte desse livro foi o fato de não termos que aguentar tanta ladainha de síndrome de super herói do Holden, o "space Jon Snow".
