Cheyenne, é uma atendente de 911.
Ela é solteira, reservada e discreta, tem uma mãe e uma irmã que ninguém merece, e infelizmente, acaba presa com uma bomba no peito, em um assalto a um supermercado que não deu certo.
Para ajudar a polícia o SEAL especialista em bombas, conhecido por Dude é chamado, coincidentemente, ele é um rapaz que a mocinha já andava de olho nele, sempre que se esbaravam no mesmo supermercado.
Obvio que o mocinha a salva, e ele fica tão encantado com a coragem e disposição da mocinha em ajudar o próximo que acaba se apaixonando por ela.
Porém nem tudo são flores, e entre as inseguranças da moça e bandidos atrás de vingança, eles tentam acertar o relacionamento dos dois.

Livro 5 de uma série, mas que da para ler separadamente, li apenas o primeiro, porém quero ler os próximos.
Tem todos os itens que gostamos em romances com SEALS, gostosão corajoso, super fofo, que faz parte de uma equipe top, salva a mocinha e se apaixona por ela e promete amor eterno. Mocinha gostosinha que não sabe que é gostosinha e que precisa da ajuda do mocinho macho alfa para seguir a vida.
Tudo isso na escrita simples e fofa da autora, é uma receita para agradar românticas como eu, que não se importam com os clichés da vida (risos!)
Sucesso garantido. Minha única ressalva é que eu gostaria que progenitora e irmã da mocinha tivessem levado uma lição e tido um choque de realidade, elas bem que mereciam.
