Incredibly good!

This was such a good, enthralling book! I'm not used to reading regency romances but this one was totally worth it and I flew through it, only didn't read it faster because of a uni exam I had to take this week.
The characters are great and very likeable, all very funny and the romance itself is just perfect, beautifully written and full of witty remarks and sass.
We follow the story of Rose, a courageous anti-hero, and Carver, our gentle, sarcastic and grieving Earl. They start out on a con of Rose's, move to a fake engagement and end up falling in love. Absolute swoon.
There's also a bit of action and a plot twist that I sort of had in mind but didn't really see coming and left me completely hung up on every word. Totally recommend this one!!
