Incrível e desconcertante

O interesse pelo livro veio do dilema que a contra capa apresenta: seguir o próprio sonho ou ceder ao mundo. E o que eu lia não mostrava isso, não como eu esperava. Sinclair Lewis consegue fazer você se importar mais com um personagem coadjuvante que com o principal (Arrowsmith),mas só através de Arrowsmith é que você entende o dilema e se impressiona com as escolhas tão próximas do real.
outro detalhe impressionante: Lewis consegue criar uma reviravolta faltando pouco mais de três linhas pro final do capítulo. Incrível!
