I need his help, and I hate needing anyone’s help. But the more time I spend with him, the more I realise that maybe there’s more from him that I need. And that he might need things from me too.

But I’m still a soldier. I still have responsibilities. It doesn’t matter how I feel about Edin, because we can’t be together. It’s too dangerous.

That doesn’t stop me wanting him, though.

foi uma leitura bem divertida e, embora eu tivesse considerado não ler o livro dois (porque o primeiro foi meio 'meh' em relação a construção, desenvolvimento, etc), esse aqui foi bem melhor, principalmente porque a autora levou muito em consideração os comentários dos leitores e ajustou muito nessa história. o edin e o hunter são um ótimo casal e eu gostei de saber mais sobre o exército (inclusive, fogo no exército) e vou tentar ler os próximos. hihihi. aliás, o wyn e o danny aparecem aqui e eles estão !!!!!!!!!
