Unwind é uma história que não apenas beira o macabro, ela também tira sarro de um monte de disputas ideológicas atuais que são puramente baseadas em convenções.

Imagine que A (pessoas acreditam que todos temos alma) e B (não sabemos de fato o que é morte ou vida, sabemos apenas que uma é a negação da outra) e que AB decidem que uma boa maneira de acabar com abortos e superpopulação e ao mesmo tempo bombar a economia, é usar adolescentes como peças de reposição. Essa é a proposta de Unwind.

Agora veja bem, esse primeiro livro não está aqui para discutir a moralidade da questão, está para mostrar o desespero dos adolescentes que são escolhidos pelo processo e como a sociedade se beneficia do sistema.

É mais que chocante, é assustador. Especialmente se você conhece um pouco de como funciona o processo de doação de órgãos no Brasil.

Obviamente, para o desenvolvimento desse tema são necessários personagens que não pisem na bola e é aí que somos brindados com um quadro que cumpre o papel, sendo funcionais o suficiente para serem cativantes, mas não tão carismáticos que minem a história.
