Sang Young Park
Sang Young Park nasceu em Daegu, Coreia do Sul, em 1988. Formado em francês e em jornalismo pela Universidade Sungkyunkwan, cursou o mestrado em escrita criativa na Universidade Dongguk. Trabalhou como editor de revista, copywriter e consultor por sete anos antes de estrear como romancista. Em 2016, Park recebeu o prêmio sul-coreano Munhakdongne New Writers Award com o texto “Searching for Paris Hilton”, e em 2018 publicou sua coletânea de contos The Tears of an Unknown Artist, or Zaytun Pasta , que está entre os mais lidos da Words Without Borders. Sua segunda obra e primeiro romance, Regras do amor na cidade grande , foi semifinalista do Booker Prize em 2022. Atualmente, o autor mora em Seul.
