Minhas cinco estrelas são de emocionada sim, mas o livro vale no mínimo quatro com certeza! Greta James é uma cantora que teve um último show não muito legal e que pode ter acabado com sua carreira (acho meio demais ver dessa forma, mas leia pra entender!!!). Sua mãe faleceu recentemente e seu pai viajaria com ela para um cruzeiro no Alaska, então Greta vai no lugar da mãe para acompanhar o pai na viagem, só que os dois não se dão tão bem devido a escolha profissional de Greta.
O livro fala MUITO sobre luto, sobre a importância de ter com quem contar, sobre relações familiares de sangue e da família que você escolhe, sobre música, sobre ser adulto e ter que lidar com as suas escolhas e sobre correr riscos.
Também tem um pouco de romance, o que eu poderia ter achado meio tirado do nada já que a viagem duraria uma semana e no quarto dias eles já estavam super pombinhos apaixonados, mas funcionou super bem para a narrativa que a autora quis trazer. Foi uma experiência deliciosa, personagens cativantes e agora vem um spoilerzinho
