Rainha do chick-lit

Não restam dúvidas pra mim sobre a Sophie Kinsella cumprir com maestria o propósito dos seus livros: a diversão – e eu somaria a isso também à constante sensação de vergonha alheia. Só ela conseguiu fazer eu, que lia de 20 a 50 páginas por dia, ler 116 de uma vez porque estava me divertindo e ansiosa pelo desfecho de toda essa loucura. É justamente o absurdo que envolve os personagens que cativa. Desde a Lottie que simplesmente em um encontro decide se casar com alguém que não vê há 15 anos, até a Fliss controladora e obsessiva. Eu fiquei bem decepcionada com o desfecho um tanto inconclusivo pra Fliss e Lorcan, achei linda a epifania que a Fliss fez ele ter, e ele ter admitido que não conheceu ninguém como ela, que fizesse ele mudar sua visão e dar uma acordada pra vida. Mas senti que faltou algo além disso, sabe? Algo concreto que me dissesse "ESSES DOIS DEFINITIVAMENTE VÃO FICAR JUNTOS, OK?" E gostei muito do final do casal principal, ver o quanto ele se importava com a Lottie a ponto de viajar o mundo e ainda ir atrás de algo que era tão importante pra ela.
