Achei o livro muito bom! Trazendo contexto histórico, costumes e tradições. Além de ser uma história que prende o leitor, traz bastante conhecimento histórico.
Este é o início da vida do Guerreiro Uhtred até sua primeira parede de escudos, sendo ele um Lorde inglês que foi capturado e adotado por dinamarqueses, aprendendo a amar e aprender sua cultura, e no fim das contas após uma reviravolta de acontecimentos, tendo que lutar contra eles.
