They also encounter a variety of people on their adventures: the mysterious Nun of Monza, whose strange manner hides a disturbing tale; the fiery Father Cristoforo, a man with a violent past and a passion for justice; and the sinister Unnamed, the supreme tyrant.

Leitura obrigatória

Nas escolas italianas, é claro.
Mesmo assim os estudantes italianos devem apreciá-lo muito.
Os Noivos, de Alessandro Manzoni, é um romance histórico bastante interessante e movimentado, um dos pioneiros do gênero.
E merecia uma média melhor dos leitores do SKOOB, pois foi subvalorizado (melhor seria escrever desvalorizado, não?) aqui, nesta data.
Pode-se não se gostar dele, mas daí a considerá-lo apenas mediano vai uma grande distância.
Enquanto isso verdadeiras bombas ganham média 4,2, 4,5...

Escrevo agora em 2020 (o comentário acima é de 2012, quando li a obra) e vejo que a avaliação média está em 4,1. Precisa melhorar um pouco mais...
