Encontro-me sinceramente apaixonada pelos mistérios envolvendo a família Hawthrone! Esse livro foi decerto um valioso andamento para a história, contudo, ainda assim não tão intrigante quanto o primeiro.
O que posso dizer? Sou fascinada por livros introdutórios.

Houveram determinadas circunstâncias que me aborreceram durante a leitura, desde a indecisão de Avery até a maneira na qual os personagens estão sempre relacionando tudo a Emily— como se mesmo após seu falecimento, a mesma ainda manipulasse aqueles que residem na mansão, tornando-se cansativo.
Se não considerarmos esses detalhes, foi uma leitura prazerosa, rápida e com inúmeras revira-voltas em seu desenvolvimento. Estou torcendo para que a autora nos conceda a chance de explorar mais a fundo o passado de Toby e essencialmente, Hannah. Fiquei extremamente interessada em ambos e sedenta por um conto. Por fim, sinto-me completamente entregue ao enredo, aos mistérios e aos personagens dessa futura trilogia. Mal posso esperar para o lançamento do terceiro livro!
