Um livro encantador sobre segundas chances

Uma leitura que é melhor aproveitada quando se começa sem nenhum tipo de spoiler.
É um livro sensível e tocante, que fala sobre promessas, amor entre irmãos, verdadeiro amor e do propósito de Deus para a vida que ele nos deu.
Os personagens são cativantes e suas histórias são simples, mas belas e em certo ponto devastadoras.

A personagem Tess tem uma relação com seu pai que me lembra muito a minha com o meu. Seus momentos no cemitério me fezeram reviver visitas cheias de uma estranha expectativa de me sentir mais próxima enquanto as lembranças me abraçavam.

O Charlie é um personagem com nuances, o sentimento de culpa e a dor que carrega são muito tocantes e compreensíveis.
E Sam é um fofo que merecia muito uma segunda chance.
O clima de cidade pequena é cativante e sempre me atrai (Adoro esse clima de cidade histórica).

Esse livro tem uma ótima descrição de como é a sensação de perder alguém e como é difícil seguir em frente. Conseguiu me fazer chorar em vários momentos com todo o significado emaranhado nos diálogos de Tess e Charlie.

Recomendo que não leiam sinopses e que se deixem levar pela vibe espiritualista e sobrenatural do livro para ter uma boa experiência.

Recomendo essa leitura simples, fofa e sensível.
