ACHAVA QUE NÃO TINHA COMO FICAR MELHOR E FICOU

Começo essa resenha reforçando que se vc achou a primeira trilogia pesada, essa aqui é mil vezes pior, então se vc incomoda com todos os gatilhos que esse livro tem, favor não ler pra depois vir falar mal dessa obra de arte do dark romance.

Eu não tenho palavras pra descrever o quão incrível é esse livro. Eu não achava que seria possível superar a trilogia de lords of mercy, mas apenas o primeiro livro dessa trilogia dos Dukes já me mostrou ser possível sim.

QUE ESCRITA INCRÍVEL!!! Não teve nem sequer um capítulo que eu achava mais ou menos. São poucos os livros que conseguem me fazer ficar tão imersa na história. Eu ia dormir já querendo acordar logo pra continuar lendo de tão boa que é a leitura.

Algo que me incomodava em lords of mercy, que inclusive eu falei na minha resenha dele aqui mesmo no Skoob, foi a falta de ação da Story. Ela era muito frágil e cedia o tempo inteiro, já a Lavinia é o completo oposto. A garota já passou por tanta coisa pesada e mesmo assim ainda consegue tirar coragem e força de algum lugar pra bater de frente com todo mundo. Eu amei que ela n deitou pra ninguém e sempre falava e fazia o que queria.

O que falar sobre Nick, Sy e Remy? É aquela famosa relação de amor e ódio. E eu acho incrível a capacidade das autoras em conseguir me fazer sentir os dois sentimentos de forma simultânea.

Eu já tenho algumas teorias sobre a morte da Tate e o desaparecimento da Letisha, então estou mega ansiosa pra ler o próximo livro e ver se meu palpite está certo. E que sofrimento vai ser ter que esperar mais um tempo pra poder ler esse segundo livro pois estou viciada e só queria ficar semanas acompanhando essa história.
