O momento da colheita... Sensacional !!!

Que sensação maravilhosa terminar essa saga de livros com Patternmaster!

Como eu li a saga da ordem cronológica e não na ordem de lançamento, pude compreender tudo tranquilamente e devorar essa história de forma muito consciente sobre o porquê as coisas aconteceram do jeito que aconteceram.

O final acabou me surpreendendo, não foi nada do que eu imaginava. Não pelo excesso em surpresas mas pela falta de um plot forte. Na verdade o final é ambíguo, cabe ao leitor imaginar como Teray irá lidar com o futuro dos padronistas.

Senti falta de mais aprodundamento sobre aqueles que descendem de toda a história da Arc de Clay mas essa saga é sobre os padronistas, sempre foi.

Dá para perceber que foi o primeiro livro que Octavia Butler escreveu. Não é o meu favorito da saga, mas merece todas as estrelas possíveis. A mulher era uma gênia a frente de seu tempo!
