A diferença entre o primeiro e o segundo livros foi gigantesca, e a autora evoluiu muito.
Com uma narrativa muito mais completa, ela entregou batalhas eletrizantes, políticas e maquinações bem elaboradas e muitas emoções. Tudo isso ajudou a manter um ritmo frenético de leitura que me fez ter dificuldade de largar o kindle.
Os personagens se mostraram mais maduros e foi incrível finalmente ver Lara mostrando suas habilidades. Os personagens secundários continuaram só compondo as cenas, ainda sem muita profundidade. Aliás, embora Lara e Aren tenham um desenvolvimento melhor, ainda tenho a sensação de que faltou alguma coisa para que eu me conectasse mais com eles. Mas, mesmo assim, Lara acaba sendo a mais cativante. Queria que as irmãs tivessem sido mais exploradas também, já que tinham um potencial incrível.
Num geral, eu recomendaria a série, mas não ficou entre as minhas favoritas.
