Aqui os Rebeldes são os vilões.

Antes eu estava com o pé atrás sobre esse livro, pois pensava se tratar da mesma história vivida no game. Não comentam este engano, o livro é uma história nova e completamente original que serve como prequel para o game, e possivelmente explica o porquê de algumas decisões tomadas por Iden Versio durante a campanha.
Focado em operações militares e espionagem, o livro não se resume a "bang bang superficiais", pois também explora a dor e o sentimentalismo oprimido pelos imperiais.
O livro não cita o nome de nenhum Jedi, quando muito falam de Vader duas vezes. Não traz nenhuma revelação sobre personagens principais ou eventos importantes, mas ainda assim, como um entretenimento no universo Star Wars, é uma leitura válida por ser envolvente e bem tramada, abordando a visão do Império que vê os Rebeldes como terroristas. Por esta discrepância com a maioria das obras de Star Wars, e também pela maneira como foi escrita, recomendo, e melhor ainda se puder ler antes de conhecer a história no game.
