Como o livro é narrado pela própria Rachel, de fato eu não ACREDITAVA que ela era uma toxicômana e que todos estavam enganados a seu respeito. Conforme ela se enganava nos enganava em dobro!!! Quando ela tinha aqueles Mini flashbacks, lembrando-se de diversas loucuras que vivera ao lado de Brigt e de Luke, me sentia como ela... uma sensação de perda. Como todos puderam ser tão maus,internando-a naquele lugar HORRÍVEL?
Mas em contrapartida ouve passagens em que discordei dela,seu jeito mesquinho as vezes era nauseante... De fato Rachel possuia todas as características de uma vilã, por isso o livro é encantador pois ao passo que ele foi narrado pela "má" da História, vimos algo muito raro em romances e afins: A História do ponto de vista do vilão!
Poderia muito bem se tratar de um livro sobre Brigit uma moça inteligente e em plena ascensão profissional, que possuia uma amiga "drogada e egoista", poderia também ser sobre Luke, um cara que namorava uma drogada.
Acho que essa foi a cartada de Marian Keyes: mostrar o outro lado da moeda, a vida de um toxicômano os estágios de sua eventual melhora. E sobretudo a lição maior deste livro(pelo menos para mim) foi que as vezes fazemos coisas que no nosso ponto de vista é o melhor a ser feito (como Rachel, desde o episódio do OVO de páscoa e etc) várias vezes ela percebe que se tivesse deixado o egoísmo de lado e o egocentrismo poderia ser muito feliz. Mas como nossa "amiga" pode começar a concertar tudo mesmo a principio contra sua vontade, podemos começar voluntariamente.

Super recomendo o livro.
