tal bauer não erra, e esse livro é mais uma prova disso.

pra mim, tropes são tão importantes quando a sinopse em si, então eu sempre começo por elas. gravity é um friends to lovers sports romance, fala sobre bryce e hunter, ambos jogadores de hóquei da liga nacional que encontram um no outro a sua outra metade.

esse livro não é fast paced, mas teve momentos em que eu senti que era, pq as coisas fluem de forma tão natural que a gente lê 100 páginas e nem percebe, a escrita do tal bauer expressa de uma forma tão palpável as emoções dos personagens, eu pude sentir a felicidade, a dor, a agonia, o coração partido e o amor de cada personagem. bryce sente as coisas muito profundamente, ele foi um personagem muito complexo emocionalmente, ele sentiu confusão, medo, terror, vergonha, paixão, raiva, dor tudo muito profundamente, essa foi a característica que eu mais gostei sobre ele, ele é muito aberto em relação às emoções dele.

apesar de não ser high angst (no meu conceito), tem uma boa dose de angst aqui, mas não diretamente sobre o relacionamento dos protagonistas, eles demoram a se encontrar e estabelecer o relacionamento, mas quando o fazem são firmes na decisão. um romance maduro, como é de se esperar do tal bauer, não muito focado em smut, mas sim no impacto emocional.

as cenas de hóquei são MUITO bem escritas, era como se um filem estivesse sendo passado na minha cabeça, em camera lenta. aprendi muito francês aqui, mon amour, as cenas do bryce falando em francês foram tudo.

eu não queria ter dado 5 estrelas pra esse livro, se eu pudesse teria dado 4.75, pq pra mim ele não é um 5 estrelas, mas tá quase lá. de qualquer forma, muito, muito bom.
