Witty

Oscar Wilde se consagrou com Dorian Gray, que eu li mil anos atrás (tá chegando a hora de reler). Porém, eu não esperava algo tão bom, feito em tão poucas páginas. Nunca fui muito fã de peças de teatro. Gosto de alguma coisa de Shakespeare, só.
Mas essa peça...
Rápida e fácil de ler, engraçada, inteligente, cheia de ironias, críticas à sociedade vitoriana e aos costumes da época. Wilde é ácido ao máximo com as principais instituições (casamento, igreja, família), não perdoa uma (sensacional!). Os personagens são bem escritos, é possível visualizar todos. Gosto particularmente do Jack, que é o contraste total do Algernon.
A resolução do conflito é um pouco apressada, mas não estraga o final do livro.
