Estava a gostar bastante deste livro até que surgiram duas situações que me desagradaram: a primeira envolve a reação da Cyn e do Worth após a sua noite romântica e como eles foram cruéis um com o outro, em vez de esperarem que cada um organizasse os seus pensamentos e discutirem o seu relacionamento com calma. A outra situação envolveu a Ladonia - personagem que estava genuinamente a adorar - e que depois da Cyn voltar de férias, foi completamente rude. Cada pessoa leva o seu tempo a processar o luto, pelo que dois anos não me parece demasiado tempo e dizer que a Cyn tem pena dela própria e que só se lamenta, é terrível!

E a partir daí, tudo se foi degradando - para duas pessoas que se chamam melhor amigos, são muito cruéis um com o outro. Também não gosto quando envolvem outras pessoas numa tentativa de fazer ciúmes ao outro - é uma falta de respeito para todas as pessoas envolvidas.

Apesar de estas situações me terem afastado do livro e irritado, não foi uma má leitura. Teve um ritmo rápido e a escrita foi agradável, sendo um livro mais antigo, não apresenta algumas caraterísticas que vemos na escrita moderna, o que a tornou um pouco refrescante. O final foi agradável e por esse motivo mantenho a nota deste livro com três estrelas.
