Tem livros bons com títulos ruins. Poucos imaginativos no mínimo. Anna Karênina. Grandes coisas. Livrão, mas título meh. Só que livro ruim com título bom ainda não conheci.

Gabriel García Márquez. Melhor titularizador não há. "Cem anos de Solidão", "Crônica de uma morte anunciada", "A incrível e triste história de Cândida Erundina e sua avó desalmada". Aprende Tolstói.

A Ferrante já sabe. Livros bons com títulos bons. São títulos misteriosos. Mas os títulos não são bons por si, são bons depois que você termina o livro. E o mistério continua.

A amiga genial. Parece óbvio. A Lila é genial mesmo. Dai pow. Inverte. Quem é a amiga genial?

História do Novo Sobrenome. Qual? Carracci? Cerullo? Ariota?

História de quem foge e de quem fica. A Lenu foge e a Lila fica. Mas a Lila também foge, de certo modo. Então a Lenu foge e Nápoles fica? Bem, a Lenu definitivamente foge. Ou não? Quem foge do que e pra onde? Quem fica? Com quem? Aonde?

História da menina perdida. Esse é a Lila, só pode. Mas a Lenu não está perdida também? Pelo menos meu respeito e admiração ela perdeu nesse penúltimo livro. Francamente.

Pensando bem, esses títulos são tudo sobre a própria autora. A menina perdida? Ela que ninguém sabe quem é. Ela que foge e ao mesmo tempo fica, pois se esconde, mas tá lá. O novo sobrenome? Não só sobrenome, como nome também, o pseudônimo. A amiga genial? Aí sim, sem dúvidas: Elena Ferrante.
