O livro é "só" sobre a relação entre duas mulheres. Uma escritora e a empregada doméstica que começa a trabalhar em sua residência. É um livro muito "simples" mas que é denso e com vários significados. A relação entre essas duas mulheres é cheia de contraste e se fortalece muito com o passar do tempo, é muito interessante de acompanhar. É um livro maravilhoso, mas que pode ser um pouco lento em alguns momentos.
