In between we are swept off to a most curious old-age home run by a self-improvement cult and drawn several centuries back in time with a cross-dressing Abbess who is on a quest to restore the Holy Grail to its rightful owner, the Goddess Venus. Guiding us is one of the most unexpected heroines in twentieth-century literature, a nonagenarian vegetarian named Marian Leatherby, who, as Olga Tokarczuk writes in her afterword, is “hard of hearing” but “full of life.”

É tipo ter um sonho lúcido em forma de livro.
No começo é normal, segue uma lógica interessante e depois PA PUM você tá num furacão muito doido e confuso como um sonho mesmo.

Achei que era só um furacão sem sentido e estava prestes a dar uma nota 3 pro livro, quando o posfácio da Olga Tokarczuk explicou TUDO, deu um tapa na cara de quem pensou que as cenas não tinham valor ou sentido.

Gostei bastante! Acho que vale outra leitura pra ver se dá para entender outra coisa.
