Conseguiu ser pior que Fragile Longing

LJ Shen ama repetir o plot que a menina é apaixonada pelo cara por anos, morre de ser humilhada por ele, mas no final o cara diz que sempre quis ela também.

Em The Villain super funcionou poi’s tava na cara que o Cillian sentia algo pela Persy. Já em The Monster eu fiquei ????? Principalmente depois do Sam cagar pra existência da Aisling por mais de 50%. Ele realmente caga. Além de todas as coisas horríveis que ele fala e faz.

Aisling é absurdamente patética. E totalmente obcecada. A mulher planejou a vida em volta do Sam. 10 anos de humilhando por esse cara. E quando as amigas tentam protegê-la pois elas sabem o quanto ela pode se machucar, ela ainda é escrota.

Sobre o Sam: abriram as portas de Chernobyl e tiraram esse cara de lá. Tenho nem palavras pra descrever o quanto eu odeio esse personagem. A forma que ele trata mulheres, que ele as vê, me incomodou desde o livro passado, com o jeito que ele tratava a Persy, mas nesse livro esse bosta seca se supera. O personagem não me convenceu em nada.

Shen ainda tentou introduzir um plot polêmico que ela não soube desenvolver e no final uma merda. Não vou falar mais sobre pois até agora não consegui digerir direito o que ela tentou fazer.

Péssimo demais o livro, credo. Até The Hunter é melhor. Tô dando meia estrela por CillianPersy, que aparecem numa vibe família fofa, meia estrela por HunterSailor que com o tempo me conquistou, e meia estrela por Devon e Belle pois o livro deles promete DEMAIS.
