Já havia demonstrado meus sentimentos em relação ao primeiro livro desta duologia, contudo este em questão não foi tão agradável quanto o anterior— O enredo tornou-se enrolado para ser finalizado abruptamente de maneira óbvia.
Todavia, embora não possa considerar-lo memorável, encantei-me com este universo descomplicado e seus personagens, além de poder facilmente me habituar com a escrita de Adrienne (a qual inicialmente aparentava ser cansativa e demasiada específica). Uma sequência de livros rápida para aqueles que se contentam com um bom romance cheio de aventuras em alto mar, e que auxiliou a melhorar meu péssimo ritmo literário.
