HELLBOY - OMNIBUS VOLUME 1

Hellboy é único. Talvez um dos personagens mais divertidos de acompanhar que já tive contato nos quadrinhos. A história de origem suscinta revela um grande mistério por trás da herança do personagem, que vai sendo trabalhado ao longo de contos extremamente inspirados que exalam criatividade e um interesse genuíno do autor por história e pelo sobrenatural. Existem inúmeras referências a criaturas de diversas culturas e personagens da história da humanidade. Aumenta ainda mais a riqueza da narrativa. Fora a arte inconfundível de Mike Mignola, que faz tudo soar muito mais singular. Cada página é um deleite visual, com layouts muito interessantes e um dinamismo agradável, principalmente na ação. Em certos momentos, as caixas de textos podem parecer enroladas ou alguns diálogos excessivamente preciosos, mas creio que faz parte da ambientação da trama, principalmente julgando a época que se passa a história.

Hellboy não fica sozinho. As personagens coadjuvantes são maravilhosas também. Abe Sapien e Liz Sherman me cativaram imediatamente. Estou ansioso para dar continuidade aos mistérios sobrenaturais com Hellboy e sua turma enquanto ele busca por significado e luta contra seu destino. Tenho certeza que irei será maravilhoso.
