"King of greed" 📖

Prometeu muito e não entregou, tinha tanto potencial e acabou decepcionando!
Eu amo a escrita dessa autora e amo essa série de livros mas esse deixou a desejar. Estava ansiosa pois eu gostei da premissa do livro.

Alessandra a esposa troféu que faz tudo pelo marido até estar cansada e pedir o divórcio. Dominic o marido milionário que só se preocupa com o emprego e só percebe que perdeu a esposa quando chega em casa e ela foi embora. Aí começa todo o enredo de redenção dele e a tentativa de reconquistar a esposa.

No começo eu estava gostando mas depois da metade desandou. Achei o Dominic extremamente chato, não deixava a Alessandra nem respirar. Assinou o divórcio mas agia como se tivesse direito sobre a ex mulher. O ciúmes excessivo, não me cativou como os outros protagonistas.

Alessandra a mesma coisa, queria tanto o divórcio para se descobrir mas voltava o tempo todo para os braços dele. Falava que queria viver o que não viveu enquanto ficava em casa mas quando tinha oportunidade estava lá lembrando como era com ele, comparava todos a ele, não sabia viver sozinha. Nem os hots me cativaram dessa vez.

Esperava mais, esperava uma introdução de como foi o relacionamento até o casamento, de como foi o casamento até o divórcio. Esperava mais pulso firma da Alessandra, não consegui sentir essa felicidade que ela insistia em dizer que tinha após o divórcio. Queria mais do Dominic correndo atrás dela mas não agindo como se ainda tivesse autoridade. Não gostei da reconciliação e o plot com o irmão também deixou a desejar.

Enfim, é um livro razoável, poderia ser melhor. É bom para passar o tempo e matar a saudade dos livros anteriores. Dante e Vivian seguem sendo os maiores
