Primeiro livro que li em português de Portugal, primeiro contato com Leslie Wolfe, e achei interessante o modo de escrever da autora, me lembrou absurdamente o Blake Pierce na construção da história. Gostei da agente especial Tess Winnett, ela é do tipo que se sobrepõe aos colegas de trabalho machistas que a subjugam somente pelo fato de ser mulher e de estar em alto cargo com tão pouca idade. Vi que a autora dedicou bastante atenção na construção do antagonista, o nosso serial killer que está em busca da vingança perfeita que virá com dor extrema. Com seus conhecimentos médicos ele usa mulheres como cobaias para seus experimentos de tortura usando de potenciadores à analgésicos, enquanto um aumento a quantidade de dor que o corpo pode aguentar o ouro alivia essa dor para a vítima não morra rápido demais. Tem muitas outras coisas mas não quero soltar mais spoilers do q já soltei. Recomendadissimo para fãs de suspenses e fãs do FBI.
