Confesso que fui muito influenciado pelo título e esperava uma história de uma casa mal-assombrada ao grande estilo do gênero. O livro possui ótimas cenas de terror (algumas eu estava em completo estado de pânico). O tom ácido e as situações criadas são muito boas, mas num geral, senti que foi uma leitura morna e com mais pontos monótonos do que cenas em que fiquei realmente entretido. A história é focada muito na relação de perdão e luto enntre os protagonistas do que o terror em si, o que acabou impactando negativamente a leitura pra mim.
