    Mesmo com todas estas referências astrológicas irritantes, o melhor do livro são as tiradas filosóficas que ele solta entre uma cena e outra, quando menos esperamos. Existe, ao final, uma metáfora sobre envelhecimento. Apesar da obra falar sobre a falta de respeito com os animais, é nítido como o conceito sobre a terceira idade,a solidão e a loucura se destacam.
