É bom, mas se não fosse tão focado nas personagens femininas seria melhor. Os poucos momentos em que Mat aparece foram o que salvaram esse livro pra mim; ele simplesmente deixou de ser um personagem detestável e se tornou um dos meus favoritos!

"Mat was caught up in it, now. He more than merely liked gambling, and battle was a gamble to make dicing in taverns a thing for children and toothless invalids. Lives were the stake here, your own and other men’s, men who were not even there. Make the wrong wager, a foolish bet, and cities died, or whole nations."

Rand também foi maravilhoso nesse livro. Acho que nunca vou deixar de me impressionar com a nova versão dele: frio, calculista, poderoso, mas ainda assim bom apesar de tudo que enfrentou e terá que enfrentar, e do fardo que é ser o Dragon Reborn, "this man who is supposed to save us, and destroy us doing it."
