Star Trek, sem mais nem menos

Sobre a U.S.S Excalibur, que entra em missão humanitária no caos deixado por um império recém desabado e que era conhecido por ser extremamente xenofóbico, indo assim onde a federação jamais esteve.
A escrita tem personagens fortes, com muitas questões interessantes a abordar, um nível maior de sexualidade do que os trekers estão acostumados(achei particulamente interessante o personagem "traveco - fully functional.") Consegue atingir o nível de ficção científica consagrada da série, abordando questões polêmicas e modernas, como religião, sexualidade e terrorismo, discutindo que isso seria visto sob o olhar de estranhos e novas tecnologias. Afinal, é sobre isso que ficção científica é!
Mas não, isso não passará daí, terá o mesmo estilo infantil das estórias da série, uma aventura engraçada e sem perigos, com personagens bons(maniqueístas), lutas, ação, aventura. Mas isso é Star Trek.
