Um típico faroeste, violento, sangrento e árido. Provavelmente o livro mais violento que já li, mas tão bem escrito, com personagens tão multifacetados que a leitura se torna prazeirosa. Inspirado num bando real de cavaleiros que percorriam o velho oeste americano chacinando e coletando escalpes de indios na tentativa de colonização dessas terras selvagens.
