Após o excelente livro de transição entre as temporadas The Clue Hunt e Cahill vs. Vespers, já sabemos mais ou menos o que esperar, certo?
Não.
Com 4 estórias no universo The 39 Clues, cada uma traz descobertas fundamentais, inclusive a tão esperada estória original que deu início a tudo.
A primeiro é justamente o último dia na vida de Gideon Cahill, e eu sempre serei grata pelo Rick Riordan tê-la escrito com toda a sua maestria. A divisão de perspectivas é um negócio fora de sério.
A segunda se passa dezenove anos depois do fim do conto original, e mostra como a filha secreta se transforma e dá início ao clã Madrigal. Eu me apaixonei por ela e por sua força.
A terceira já acontece com a adolescente Grace tomando as rédeas da herança Cahill. Eu particularmente nunca fui muito apegada à Grace, mas reconheço a inteligência e determinação admiráveis dela. Ter um vislumbre de sua primeira aventura foi muito enriquecedor para a série.
Por último (mas certamente não menos importante), temos o primeiro encontro de Amy e Dan com os Vespers, e você praticamente sente a transformação nos irmãos reverberar em você. Eu quase chorei vendo o nítido amadurecimento deles, de orgulho e de medo. Adorei que estão fazendo um Dan mais sombrio, mais crescido; e uma Amy que FINALMENTE entendeu como o jogo deve ser jogado. Cara, eu vivi pra isso.
Definitivamente, essa série só melhora e cresce e se desenvolve e aprofunda. Eu realmente fico encantada com toda a teia tecida pra criar o mundo deles.
