Tom Rob Smith
Filho de mãe sueca e pai Inglês, Smith foi criado em Londres, onde vive hoje. Após graduar-se na Universidade de Cambridge em 2001, ele completou seus estudos na Itália, estudando redação criativa por um ano. Após esses estudos, trabalhou como roteirista. Sua primeira novela, "Criança 44", sobre uma série de assassinatos de crianças na Rússia stalinista, apareceu no início de 2008 e foi traduzido para 17 línguas.
