Excelente livro para quem se interesse pela interação humana com as plantas. Pollan utiliza sua habilidade de jornalista para fala sobre quatro plantas que utilizamos, relacionadas a quatro desejos que nos fazem (fizeram) alterá-las, com foco em diferentes partes das mesmas: uma fruta, uma flor, uma folha e uma raiz. Muito bem construído, informações relevantes e boas para público leigo. PS: digo isso mesmo tendo encontrado eventuais erros factuais e argumentos com os quais não concordo (sendo pesquisador na area de botânica). Recomendo, e inclusive gostaria que houvesse uma tradução para poder trabalhar o texto com alunos na universidade.
