Esse segundo livro se centra mais no romance da Eva com o Caleb. Ela abandona a segurança Califia e vai atrás dele. Tem vários plot twists que fazem a ela parar da Cidade de Areia. E enfim, difícil não dar spoiler. O primeiro livro é melhor, mas vale a pena ler a trilogia inteira para passar o tempo.
