Wallace Stevens
Nasceu em 1879 nos Estados Unidos. Vice-presidente de uma companhia de seguros, produziu uma das mais notáveis obras poéticas da literatura norte-americana, caracterizada pelo virtuosismo, a erudição e a dedicação a um punhado de temas de natureza estética e metafísica, as quais desenvolveu em todo o decorrer de sua trajetória. Faleceu em 1955.
