Se por um lado aqui o hibridismo narrativo entre texto e imagem cria um diálogo melhor e com mais propósito do que em Hugo Cabret, por outro o autor peca um pouco em questão de ritmo, executando trechos que a história fica morna demais, até um tanto burocrática.
Longe de ser um livro ruim, ele apenas não cativa tanto quanto poderia.
